Born and educated in North Carolina, I have a long family history in the practice of etiquette. My parents and grandparents always taught and valued the importance of manners, grace and respect. My sister began Social Graces in North Carolina and was the inspiration for this sister business (no pun intended)!

Before starting Social Graces of Northern Virginia, I worked as a business professional, teacher and in various volunteer roles. I continue to work in schools and with our local church. I have spent several years overseas, in both England's stunning Cotswolds and on the outskirts of Belgium's famous capitol. I have a great appreciation of the beautiful and varied cultures and traditions practiced around the world.
